About FOAL

The Friends of the Auberry Library (FOAL) mission focuses on supporting the Auberry Branch Library, and on enriching the community.  Here's how we do these things:

FOAL supports the library by providing:

• A building for the library (FOAL owns the building)
• An attractive outdoor presentation area for library activities in Sohm Garden
• Activities and events at the library to enhance it as a community gathering place
• Upgrades to resources and facilities (staff kitchen, moveable bookstacks, stackable chairs, digital projection system, and more) 

FOAL supports the community by providing:

• Musical and theatrical performances in our local community
• A guest speaker series with local authors, naturalists, artists and more
• Student outreach workshops with professional musicians and artists
• Early literacy programs
• Teen tours and scholarships
• Adult tours and activities
