 The No Town 4 band is comprised of Jeff Bowman: vocals, steel pan, percussion and lap steel. Dean MacDonald: vocal, guitar, mandolin, banjo. Ray Haney: bass and vocals. Stan Shafer: drums. All are accomplished songwriters and musicians who reside in the Fresno area.
Ray and Stan play in the Premier blues band Square One. Ray and Jeff are members of the Wild Blue Yonder and Dean is the lead guitar player for Glen Delpit and the Subterraneans. This band gives Jeff and Dean a chance to perform tunes from their solo CD projects. Dean’s is entitled “Beautiful World”. Jeff’s is entitled “How the Light Gets In”. They will be performing tunes from both those projects. The band is considered to be in the Americana genre with a nod to Caribbean grooves and rhythms. It is warm and accessible storytelling.
